Reed portable roll groovers are compact, durable tools for use at installation sites. The RG6S and RG6CU are designed to be powered by the RIDGID® brand 300 power drive. Unlike similar models, the RG6 has heavy duty bearings and a steel body to withstand the punishment of severe grooving applications. Finger-adjust depth screw and gauge provide quick adjustment and accurate, repeatable groove depths. No bulky adjusting wrenches required. Sealed bearings for long life. The RG26 is for grooving in-place pipe, and pipe too short for powered groovers. It is easily carried and positioned with a convenient handle. Included ratcheting crank is used for feeding and turning. Reed extends its line of heavy duty roll groovers with two models for copper tubing. Both the RG6CU and RG26CU models have new rollers and shafts to meet copper grooving specifications. An extension kit for Reed RG6 groovers for steel or copper allows full 6” grooving with threading machines. Support arms and drive bars place the groover at the end of RIDGID® brand machines for full access grooving.
